Pro Evolution Soccer 2011

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 (ENG) | PC |
PC Game - Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 (officially abbreviated as PES 2011 and known as World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2011 in Asia) is an association football video game in the Pro Evolution Soccer series developed and published by Konami with production assistance from the Blue Sky Team. The game was announced on 9 February 2010 and was released on the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 on 30 September 2010 in the European Union and 8 October 2010 in the United Kingdom. The versions of Wii, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable were released on 28 October 2010. The UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League are featured within the game, and for the first time in the series, UEFA Super Cup and CONMEBOL's Copa Libertadores will be fully licensed. The first trailer was released on 4 May 2010, while an E3 trailer was released in June 2010, showing some of the new features of the game. The game also sees the return of Lionel Messi as its cover star.
ITV's Jim Beglin has been implemented as new co-commentator to Jon Champion for PES 2011. A demo of PES 2011 was released for PC and PS3 on 15 September 2010. The demo allowed users to play ten minute games with four teams available: FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich or Copa Libertadores pair Chivas de Guadalajara and SC Internacional. A video presentation was also included after each match outlining the full game's content in readiness of the game's UK launch on 8 October 2010.
New features:
Total Control: PES has enhanced the 360 degree passing ratio, offering unprecedented levels of control over every pass, shot, throw-in, through-ball, and lofted through-balls.

Shot and Stamina Gauge: In addition to the generic power gauge, the shot and stamina metre details the player’s level of fitness.

New Defender AI: Defenders now hold their positions naturally, no longer chasing any ball that enters their area; preferring to close down the attacker and force them into a mistake.

Improved Goalkeepers: Players now have more control over their goalkeeper. This greater control allows for quick roll-outs, saves, improved accuracy with goal kicks, and precision ball distribution to make quicker breaks or playing down the clock easier.

Animation and Player Physics: PES has reworked every element of in-game animation. These additions will become clear before even kick-off, with the players enjoying more natural movements, with more realistic acceleration and inertia.

Stadium Editor: The stadium editor allows the player to create his own stadiums. One will be able to edit the stands by selecting preset built structures, seat colours, the adboards and hoardings, the turf style (similar to Pro Evolution Soccer 2008), the architecture and roofing of the stands, whether there's a running track, plain ground, or grass around the pitch.
Speed of Play: The new level of control means that PES 2011 enjoys a more considered pace of play, which varies dependent on situations.
Aesthetics: Facial animation has been enhanced, but the key advances are over 1,000 all-new animations which have been recreated from the ground up using over 100 hours of motion captured footage.

Tactical and Strategy: The sheer number of options available in the PES series has established it as a remarkably flexible simulation, allowing players to stamp their playing style on each match.

Feint settings: PES offers a wide range of subtle skills, feints and turns, but PES 2011 allows users to map their favourite move sequences to the right stick, making them more accessible than ever before.

Master League Online: Master League offers an all-new challenge, as users are invited to try their hand against other managers online.

Other Edit Features: PES 2011 does not feature a boot editor. Boots and balls will be added by Konami through updates like PES 2010.

Typer Shark Deluxe

Typer Shark Deluxe (ENG) | PC |
PC Game - In the spirit of games such as Typing of the Dead, Typershark Deluxe aims to improve your typing skills by turning your innocent keyboard into a deadly weapon. You play a diver who faces toothy sharks that attack you and prevent you from rescuing treasure in the ocean depths. You repel attacks by typing words that appear on the sharks. Sometimes typing one word is not enough, so you have to type two words to shock the shark. Moreover, some sharks are tricky; the words written on them are not real words, but nonsense letter combinations. The graphics look great, making gameplay very entertaining. Typershark Deluxe provides an enjoyable way for gamers and typists to increase their speed and accuracy while electrocuting sharks.

Devil May Cry 4

Devil May Cry 4 (ENG) | PC |
PC Game - Gameplay in Devil May Cry 4 is similar to previous games in the series. The player must fight through levels called "missions", occasionally solving puzzles or gathering items. Performance in a mission is graded from D being the bottom grade through C, B, A, and S being the highest grade. Grades are based on items used, Red Orbs gathered, time taken, and the amount of Style Points accumulated. Each Style Point grade has its own tag-word. The stylish grade shows up on the side of the screen and starts at "Deadly"(D); progresses through "Carnage"(C), "Brutal"(B), and "Atomic"(A); then, progresses through one last bar of grade containing the phrases "Smokin'"(S), "Smokin' Style"(SS), and lastly "Smokin' Sick Style"(SSS). Stylish combat is the main focus of the game, which is conveyed through unbroken combos of varied attacks while avoiding damage. The player must avoid enemy attacks to continue performing combos, often by memorizing attack patterns.
The Devil Trigger is a super state that enables the player to become more powerful adding a slow but steady health regeneration, with increased damage done. Devil Trigger can be activated by pressing the button to trigger it when the minimum amount on the gauge is filled or when the player is near death during combat, and also through items called Devil stars.

Some changes introduced into Devil May Cry 4 are the presence of two playable characters, Dante and Nero, and a slight modification to the shop system. A new currency, Proud Souls, is used to buy new abilities while Red Orbs are used to buy items. Proud Souls are rewarded at the end of missions and the amount varies depending on how well the player performed. Cost of abilities also increase with the purchase of other abilities, though all abilities can be sold back for the original price.

The player plays as Nero throughout most of the game. He starts and ends the game with his Red Queen sword, Blue Rose revolver, and the powers of his Devil Bringer (his demonic right arm). The Red Queen features an Exceed Gauge that can be charged up, allowing for subsequent attacks that are more powerful than regular slashes, until the gauge empties. The Exceed Gauge can also be filled by pressing the rev button at the peak of each slash, which allows for more powerful combos capable of breaking the opponent's guard. Nero also has the powers of his Devil Bringer, and can use it to pull himself towards enemies or vice-versa. The Devil Bringer may also be used for context-sensitive throw attacks, leading to high damage and various effects depending on the enemy. Nero's Devil Bringer also gains new abilities during the course of the game, such as being able to detect secret missions or caches of Red Orbs. Nero eventually gains the ability to use Devil Trigger after getting the katana known as Yamato, which increases his Devil Bringer's power, thus changing his Devil Bringer attacks into more powerful versions with different animations.
The player plays as Dante through seven missions, taking over halfway through the game. His gameplay is similar to that of Devil May Cry 3, with him having access to multiple melee and ranged weapons which he gains after boss battles, and being able to cycle through them freely in combat, being no longer limited to equipping two weapons of each type as he was in the previous game. Dante also starts with his four styles (Trickster, Royal Guard, Sword Master, Gunslinger), each of which grants him different abilities, but he may now switch them at will with buttons or pads on the PlayStation 3 controller or the Xbox 360 controller, unlike in Devil May Cry 3. He also gains the Dark Slayer style near the end of his appearance, which only has one style level and can be accessed by pressing a direction button twice. Styles do not level up through experience as in the previous game, but must instead be upgraded in the shop screen in between missions or at statues. Dante can also enter Devil Trigger; in his Devil Trigger he gains most of the benefits that Nero's Devil Trigger has, though, as he does not have the Devil Bringer, he gets animation and property changes on some of his normal attacks instead.

Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5 (ENG) | PC |

PC Game - Resident Evil 5 features similar gameplay to Resident Evil 4, with context-sensitive controls and dynamic cutscenes also making a return.

The player can control Chris Redfield or Sheva Alomar in a similar fashion to Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 4, with the same over-the-shoulder perspective. The game's environment plays a significant role. The Mercenaries minigame, featured in previous Resident Evil games, is present in Resident Evil 5. At launch, the multiplayer mode in the minigame was offline only, but a launch day patch gave the game online multiplayer modes as well.
Instead of zombies, the game's humanoid enemies are called "Majini", meaning evil spirit in Swahili. They bear many resemblances to the Ganados of Resident Evil 4, because they speak, run, dodge and wield weapons. Like in Resident Evil 4, the number of weapon variations is increased compared to the previous games in the series; there are now several varieties of the handgun, shotgun, submachine gun, assault rifle and rifle to choose from. Like inventory systems in two previous Resident Evil titles Resident Evil Outbreak and Resident Evil Outbreak File #2, the player can only equip weapons and items in the midst of gameplay (the game still runs real-time as you manipulate the inventory), as opposed to the game pausing.

The game features some online elements. Resident Evil 5's main story mode can be played with two players, in a co-operative online mode. The feature will allow players to enter or leave anytime during the game. Players will not always stick together, and can be separated at points during the gameplay. However, if one player were to have critical health, only their partner can resuscitate them. An offline co-op mode is also in the game with the same co-op experience offered by the online co-op mode, only with two local players controlling the action in split screen or by a system link.
